Saw Dunkirk on Saturday night, because, Christopher Nolan. I would say it was one of the better World War 2 movies I’ve seen. It wasn’t my favorite Nolan movie, but was well done and the cast did a great job. The interesting thing is, as his other movies, Nolan tells this in a non-linear way. There are three different stories going on semi-simultaneously. One is about the soldier on a beach, one is a fighter jet dog-fight and another is a small ship captain. It isn’t always clear how they overlap until the end, but going in knowing that helps a bit.
