Do People Even Blog Anymore?

As I try to start my meager posting entries, I’m wondering if people even blog anymore these days. I’ve heard blogging is dead now that we have social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter, but do they replace the long form depth blogs can provide? I don’t think so. I’m no writer by any means, but I think this can help me become a better one, perhaps? I clearly have a lot of questions about this blog stuff, but hopefully I’ll learn more along the way.
